New Chamber Chapter

Dear Valued Chamber Members:

Larry Johnson, our Executive Director, has informed us that he’s moving on to a new and exciting chapter in his career.  We are grateful for the leadership he has provided to the Greater Florence Chamber, and we wish him success with his new endeavor.  We have reached many milestones under his direction, and his talents will be missed in Florence.

I’m proud to announce that Roger Biede will serve as the Chamber’s Interim Executive Director and will work closely with Larry to ensure a smooth, positive transition.  Here’s a little information about Roger’s background:

Roger C. Biede is a second-generation Arizonian and grew up in Oro Valley, Arizona, moving to Pinal County in 2010. His career started in Tucson as Operations Manager of an expanding restaurant group, leading the opening of restaurant concepts all over the State.  He transitioned to the General Manager of a USDA inspected manufacturing company, selling product to large box retail stores and the Arizona State and US Government.  For the last twenty years, Roger is has worked in the logistics, incentive and experiential marketing industry doing one of a kind brand activations all over the world.

Roger has served many charities including Special Olympics, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Arizona, and Future Forward Foundation (3F).  He is head of the local Masonic Lodge in Florence and is active in the State Leadership of the Fraternity. He has served on a number of Boards including Greater Florence Chamber of Commerce, Pinal Historical Society, Future Forward Foundation Chairperson in 2017 and current Vice President of the State Library of the Arizona Grand Lodge of Masonry.

He has been married to Kristine for over 10 years and has two sons, Damian (23), and Dominick (22).

Rest assured, you will continue to receive the same member benefits during this transition time, and the Chamber will continue to work towards new goals that support the needs of the business community.

We hope you can attend tonight’s “First Thursdays” Mixer at McFarland State Park (right next to the Chamber’s office) where we will thank Larry for his service to the Florence Chamber and welcome Roger to his new position.  Thank you to San Tan Mountain View Funeral Home & Advanced Planning Center for hosting!

Please feel free to reach out to me directly if you have any questions.

Sincerely,

Stacy Gramazio, Chairman
